Love Language

While attempting to organize my studio, I came upon a small box of magenta and olive green pastel sticks. I don’t recall ever creating this box but the colors spoke to me and begged for a painting. During the process of creating this piece, I decided the loosely shaped flowers needed more texture so I added gesso with random brush strokes. If you zoom in on them, you can really see how textural they are. As for straightening up my studio, that never happened.
